Boogie Down Boogaloo is the community dance & music component of The Boogaloo Project. Originated in THE BRONX, Amanda created this program to bring people together to express their individual style & attitude through Boogaloo music & dance!

DANCE PROJECT
Love to dance to Latin music, funk & soul? Want to try something new and connect to new people?
Interested in learning a fun, unique and energetic dance form & choreography?
Want to be part of an international team of dancers & dance lovers ?
In this project, we'll come together over 6 weeks to learn about the Boogaloo through music, dance & history. This program is for those who want to join a special training group where you'll not only learn about the history of Boogaloo, but also train to learn a choreographed Boogaloo dance routine! This program aims to bring the Bronx, NYC, and Boogaloo-loving communities altogether in one program!
We cap off the program with a LIVE performance on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at
Boogaloo in the Bronx 2021 Festival!
