Welcome to Boogie Down Boogaloo!

 

I really enjoyed joining you on Monday nights during the MetaMovements Salsa Suelta program! Even though that program has come to an end for the 2020 season, I hope you'll continue to join me & The Boogaloo Project as we keep the Monday night dance party going!.
 

I invite you all to join me & a number of other fantastic dance instructors for the Boogie Down Boogaloo Community Music & Dance Program.  This program is dedicated to educating the community at large about the the history of Latin Boogaloo music & dance!   

This project is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and the Bronx Council on the Arts.  It kicked off in 2019 as a project for the Bronx community and now I'm excited to offer it virtually and invite you to join the community!
 

So what does this mean for you?
 

That means that every Monday night from Oct 5th - Dec 7th, you will get to continue to enjoy dancing online — with some amazing instructors... as well as learn some history, and connect to this amazing culture from a totally new angle!  Each class will highlight different Boogaloo music & musicians, while we explore Boogaloo dance & all of its crossover influence ...
