Boogie Down Boogaloo is the community dance & music component of The Boogaloo Project. Originated in THE BRONX, Amanda created this program to bring people together to express their individual style & attitude through Boogaloo music & dance!

DANCE PROJECT
Love to dance to Latin music, funk & soul? Want to try something new and connect to new people?
Interested in learning a fun, unique and energetic dance form & choreography?
Want to be part of an international team of dancers & dance lovers ?
This year, we take on a special collaboration AND a special challenge!
Together with Vida Dance Company, we'll tackle the musical stylings of the maestro Johnny Colon in a 3 week choreo challenge!
We cap off the program with a LIVE performances on
Friday, Sept 26th at the Bronx Music Hall during Boogie Down Dance Week
AND
Sunday, Sept 28th at Boogaloo in the Bronx 2025!
